DC-DC Converters (12V/24V/48V)

DC to DC converters are used to convert from one voltage level to another. In our program we offer models with 12V, 24V or 48V inputs and 12V or 24V outputs at various power levels. Three different series are available: TDC, TDCi and TDCi-CH. Click the More Info button below for a more detailed explanation of the specific differences between each series.

Automatic Charging Relay – TACR-160

In a boat or vehicle with two battery banks, it is useful to charge both banks while underway. The TACR-160 allows two battery banks to be charged from a single source, such as an alternator, but keeps the batteries isolated from each other when not charging. This is to prevent one battery bank from discharging the other. If one battery bank does become empty, there is always a charged battery bank available for a possible emergency start.

Battery Protect Relays (Solid State)

A TBP battery protection relay protects your batteries against deep discharge. Deep discharge causes damage to batteries and can also cause a shortage of starting power to start your engine. These (solid state) relays also protect connected electrical devices against overvoltage. The battery load is then interrupted when the voltage is higher than 16V (12V mode) or 32V (24V mode).

Fuses (Mega, ANL and Class-T)

We can also supply fuses to complete our DC Modular fuse holders. TBS is a reseller of the A-brand Littelfuse. For optimal safety, we advise our customers to only use fuses from well-known brands with a good reputation. The Littelfuse brand has been our first choice for years, also for use in our other products.

Basic Remote Control

The Basic Remote Control is a remote control that can be used to remotely monitor the status of your TBS device and switch it on or off. It contains the same LED indicators as on the device itself.

Universal Remote Control

The Universal Remote Control (URC) can be used to remotely read all available parameters of your TBS inverter, charger or inverter/charger. Depending on the connected device, parameters such as input current, input voltage, output voltage or output power can be displayed. It is of course also possible to switch the connected device on and off remotely.

QuickLink to Bluetooth kit

With this kit you can operate, read and configure the Expert Modular, Omnicharge2 and Omnicharge DC products via an iOS or Android device via Bluetooth. The Dashboard Mobile app is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play.

QuickLink to NMEA2000 Communication Kit (only for Expert Modular)

This accessory kit allows you to interrogate the Expert Modular battery monitor over a NMEA2000 network and provides the ability to display comprehensive battery bank data on any NMEA2000 compatible display.

Panel switch for RBS and TBP contactors

This panel switch allows you to send open and close commands to the TBS Remote Battery Switch (RBS) and Battery Protect Relay (TBP) contactors from a convenient location.

Temperature sensor kit

By combining the Expert Pro or Expert Modular with a temperature sensor kit, the exact temperature of the battery can be determined. This makes even more accurate battery monitoring possible.
